The Local Ministry of Public Work and Employment announces that unemployed workers who would like to take part in the “Programme of temporary contracts for agrarian workers to carry out work and services of general and social interest” should submit their application form before 15th May.

The Local Minister of Public work and Employment, Trini Cayuela, has said that the worker who wishes to take part in the programme should ask for it explicitly as otherwise even if they meet the necessary requirements they will not be included in the list of possible participants.

The deadline to submit application forms is 15th May 2009, and it can be done in the specific customer service desk of Totana' s Town Hall, in the SEF (Service of Employment and Training) in the Official Registers and offices included in article 38.4 of Law 30/1992 and in the places designated by the UGT and CCOO, and trade union organisations who are members of the District Advisory Boards.

On the other hand and different from the criteria approved last year, during the present exercise workers who at the time of asking are signed on to the 'Régimen Especial Agrario de la Seguridad Social', although in that moment are not registered as users of the SEF office will also be able to ask for their incorporation in the programme.

The necessary documents to bring by people interested in taking part in this programme can be consulted and downloaded from the direct access on SEF's web page, http://www.sefcarm.es/. If you don't have internet access, the information can also be collected from the SEF office, in the places designated by the UGT and CC.OO. and in Totana's Town Hall.
